    • SAMUEL I. EVERY, 83, of Plymouth Meeting, a businessman, died yesterday at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown.
      He formerly lived in Overbrook Hills.
      Mr. Every owned and operated the Betty Lee Women's Apparel shops in the Philadelphia area. He founded the stores in 1940 and closed them and retired in the early 1960s. He later worked in the men's apparel department at John Wanamaker in Wynnewood until he retired again about 1974.
      He was a member of Adath Israel Congregation in Merion, serving on its board of directors and as an officer of its Men's Association.
      Survivors: his wife, Sylvia Arost Every; son, Joel; four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
