Howard Weinberg of Houston, TX devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on June 26, 2016 at the age of 75. Howard was born in Jamaica, NY, a first generation American to German immigrants Larry and Irene Weinberg on April 8, 1941. Howard worked as a computer sales consultant for multiple technology companies which brought him from Rochester, NY to Texas, eventually settling in Houston in 1971. His passions included teaching photography, volunteering as a Deputy Constable for Harris County, showing his prize-winning miniature schnauzer Muffin at state competitions, and participating in the Freemasons and Shriners. Howard served in the US Army Reserves as an x-ray technician and awarded as being an expert in marksmanship. After suffering a stroke two years ago, Howard resided in the assisted living Belmont Village community where he remained active with the other residents, serving on many social activities including Movies with Howard and the welcoming committee. Howard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mimi, his two sons and daughters-in-law Jay & Alicia of San Antonio, Texas and Mark & Susie of Charlotte, NC, and his seven grandchildren Cory, Isabelle, Robyn, Jules, Lauren, Alex and Karlie.
