  August 15, 1993: BESSIE PEARSON YATES suggested I call her sister FRE DA re family information. FREDA and MAX recently moved back to Montreal a fter being away for 65 years. FREDA had tried to organize a "Pearson fami ly circle" and annual reunion in 1960. She sent a letter and questionnai re to many members of the family but their was little response. She did s ay she heard from my mother ANNIE. Also from ETA POWELL who lived at 5511 Beaminster Place at the time. FREDA suggested I drop by some afternoon when her sister RITA is availabl e. She thinks that between the two of them, she will be able to gi ve me a lot of family information. She has a photograph of her grandfath er and grandmother JOSHUEL PEARSON and FEIGE/FANNY COHEN. FREDA did not k now that FEIGE's name was COHEN.
