  Dorie Sand Date of Death: 08/28/2016 (Nee Biller) Passed away August 28, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Isadore Sand for nearly 63 years. Cherished mother of Michael (Marcia), Steven and Bob Sand. Loving grandmother of Tami (Shalom Aryeh) Shafier, Beka (Tuvia) Shaw, Sagalle, Ben, Mark, Miriam, Mitchel, Mathew and Mirah Sand and great-grandmother of Moshe and Yitzchak Shaw. Sister of the late Fern Abrams. Further survived by many loving relatives and dear friends. Dorie worked in the Milwaukee Public School System, retiring as a principal in 1989. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Bubbe and professional educator who enjoyed family, friends, travel and volunteer work in the community.
