  NEEDHAM, Mass. Florence Ellen Pearson, 90, of Avery Manor Nursing Home, Needham, passed away December 29, 2004. Mrs. Pearson was formerly of Schenectady, N.Y. She was the wife of the late Theodore Pearson. She is survived by brother, Coleman and (June) Ellen and sister, May Kessler; sons, Gary and (Ann) of Stoughton, Mass. and Delray Beach, Fla., Bruce of Wareham, Mass. and Ronald and (Katie) of Weston, Mass.; grandchildren, Shari and (James) Shapiro of Easton, Mass., Michael, Gregory and Emma of Weston; great-grandson, Justin Shapiro of Easton. Florence graduated as a member of the National Honor Society from Nott Terrace High School and Phi Beta Kappa from Albany State Teachers College. She taught high school English and history in the Schenectady school system and was an active substitute teacher in the Schenectady and Niskayuna school systems. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Agudat Achim Sisterhood and Hadassah for many years. Services in the Agudat Achim Cemetery Chapel, Schermerhorn Street, Rotterdam, N.Y. on Sunday, January 2, 2005 NEEDHAM, Mass.
