Hello,
Glad to see that someone keeps this up. I found just one of my "known" cousins in the guestbook (hulachick) and sometime when I have more of it, I'm going to see how I am related to some of the people who don't have Pearson as their last name!
Thanks,

I found your website on the internet.
I have both a Liberman and a Luria (you have a Lurya) in my ancestry, but none of the names match up.
My mother's maiden name was Liberman (yes, spelled without the extra "e"). Her father, Carl Marx Liberman, was the son of Samuel Liberman and Golda Luria. they were from Doksyzy in present-day Belarus (back then, it was apparently Lithuania. it is near Vilnius). Carl was born around 1900. He was the fourth of 5 children: Sophie. Rose, Annie, Carl and Ida. Samuel had two sisters: Rashkeh and Sarah. Golda's parents were Kashriel Luria and Ruchel Tsofness. Golda had 5 siblings: Zlatta, Anna, Ida, Chipa and Jacob. Golda was the oldest.
We apparently also have cousins in New York who spell their Last name Lieberman. One of their ancestors and Samuel were first cousins, but, as I do not know the names of Samuel's parents, I have no idea how they were related.
Does any of this match up with any of your family history?

I am looking for information about my great-great grandfathers parents. Don’t even know where to start. I am 62 years old and since I have retired from the US Army (100% disabled Vietnam Vet) I have decided to make this my hobby. I do know that my great great grandfather, James L Gordon and his son James D Gordon born 1865 came to the US in 1869 from Scotland. I believe they were born in Bell’s Mills, Edinburgh, but not sure. His wifes name was Jane or Jennie. Laird might be maiden name. James L also had a daughter named Janet who also was born in Scotland around 1867. His other children included Ramsay and Martha. They lived in Maryland before settling in Westmoreland County, PA. He was a coal miner. James D had several children, including my grandfather, Neil, first married to Elizabeth Meyers and after she died in 1909 he married Olga Heller. I can not get back any further for all the “older” relatives are now deceased. I am now the older generation. We now live in Minnesota in a retirement community. For lack of very little to do I decided to join ancestry.com and see what I could find out about my family. I would like to communicate with someone about this. I know you can pay for information but why pay for something you are not sure of. Any help from you in locating someone to chat with would be most appreciated .

Hello my Relatives,
Forgive me for frank impudence, but believe, it from very impasse!
Shortly about itself:
My branch in ours geneology a tree
here:
To me of 40 years. I live with the of families (the wife and the son) in the city of Tashkent (Uzbekistan, republic of the former USSR). I was born in Tashkent because of evacuation of my father. My father, Arnold Kitsis (Kizis), the refugee from the second world war from Leningrad (blockade) in 1942. My father has died in Tashkent in 1990 of long illness.
My grandfather Natan, and grandmother Evgenie were lost from the Holocaust in August, 1942.
After 1991 it became very difficult to live in Uzbekistan all... But to Jews especially!
To be engaged in business it is practically impossible... Works are not present normal...
I the engineer of electronics... The wife the lawyer.
I tried to immigrate on a constant residence to Germany, as a contingentcy the refugee. At me have accepted documents only in 2000! And till now there is no invitation.
I per 2001 have left on earnings for Moscow (Russia). But in March, 29th, 2003 to me to set fire to an apartment... I miracle have survived... Has jumped out only in cowards from the second floor...
Thank God, that my family during this moment already has left for Tashkent!
Then... I without documents (I the citizen of Uzbekistan, and the passport has burned down) reached Tashkent. Bureaucrats of Uzbekistan did not wish to restore to me documents - the corrupted officials!
I only recently have received again the passport.
Now... Every day it is more and to become more terribly to live in Tashkent. And heaviest it to find work.
The material (financial) help is now very necessary for me!
Forgive me, please, but me there is nobody to address more!
The life of one of branches of a tree of our surname can depend on you.
