  COVSHOFF, Sophie (nee Cohen) Peacefully, on Thursday, October 6, 2011, in her ninety-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Sydney Steinberg and the late Moe Covshoff. Devoted second mother of Joyce Pleet, and Philip Covshoff. Proud Bubby and Grandma of Steven Pleet and Steven Reti, Mitchell Pleet; Sarah Covshoff, and Elana Covshoff. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Sara and Morris Bauman, Peter Cohen, twin sister Freda and Victor Deckelbaum.
