  • Notes
    • Stephen (Steve) Abramson
Steve passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at the age of eighty-nine after a long and fulfilling life. Loving husband of Arlene Wheeler. Proud father and father-in-law of Jonathan Abramson, Jennifer Abramson and Michael Wiesenfeld. Brother-in-law of Linda and Allan Cobham. Uncle of Laura and Crystal Cobham.

Born in Montreal, he was the adored only child of the late Celia Takefman and Max Abramson. Steve loved life and he loved people. An avid skier, golfer, equestrian, runner and cyclist he was never happier than engaging in outdoor sports or socializing with friends. He was a lifelong member of the YMHA, ran with the Wolfpack and cycled with the Beaconsfield Cycling club. In his youth he was waterfront director at Camp B'nai Brith, a member of the Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity at McGill University and in his early twenties joined the Masons at their lodge on Dorchester Street.
